What VAT information is available on the Company Watch platform?

Company Watch are only able to provide VAT numbers for Uk Companies only.

The file of VAT numbers and Registration Information that Company Watch receives does not contain 100% coverage of validated Company Numbers. Only if we are able to match a Company Number from the VAT file to a record from Companies House then this produces a 100% confidence match.

In other cases, where we have not been given an exact Company Number match, we display a degree of confidence that the VAT number and Registration Information that has been provided should be appended to the record from Companies House. Although CRAs are not able to display VAT Registration Information, HMRC provides a website whereby you can check the VAT Registration Information for a given VAT number.
