Filing requirements for a Shareholder vs Person of Significant Control (PSC)
A Person of Significant Control (PSC) must submit their details to Companies House using PSC forms, more details on PSC forms can be found at this link on the Companies House website.
Shareholder information, on the other hand, is reported to Companies House via the CS01 Confirmation Statement or, for filings predating June 2016, through the Annual Return (AR01) form.
It is important for Companies to file each form type individually to ensure accurate data filings.
Once Companies House has processed and published the relevant documents, updates are incorporated into the Company Watch platform, usually within 5 working days.
