SearCHeD®️ can be purchased as a add-on to any Company Watch subscription, or as a independent access.
If you have purchased access you will find a link to the tool when you log into the Company Watch Angelia Platform:

From the Dashboard, click on the Searchable Companies House Documents link.

You will be taken to a new page where you can search for all or certain words in companies annual reports dating back to 2015. (Note: the searchable documents will only apply to companies that have a TextScore. Small companies or companies with abbreviated annual reports are not searchable.)

You can search by content (i.e. words or phrases used in annual report), by registration number, by name, or you can import a file with multiple lists of registration numbers together with the relevant period-end dates.

To search by content, type the words you would like to search on, enter the period-end dates “From” and “To”. Click Search.

A list of industry, region and entity type will appear. Select any of your interest. Then click “Search”.

You can preview the document or download it. To preview, simply click on “Preview”. This will open up the document in another tab where you can begin to search for any words of your interest.

To download, click on the + under the heading “Add”. This will move the selected document to your basket on the left-hand-side of the page. You can keep adding more documents to your basket.

Once you are ready to download all the documents from your basket, click on “Request all” at the bottom of the page and then click on “Download Archive”.

The documents will be downloaded into a folder, from here you can open up the document and then type “Ctrl-F” to find any words you would like to search on.

You can also export your search results to excel by clicking the Excel icon seen on the page.
