Irish Company Monitoring Updates
From Monday 20th April 2026, a series of data enhancements and corrections have been implemented across Irish company records. These updates are designed to improve the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data available through our platform and API.
If you previously used Company Watch portfolios, email alerts, or API integrations to monitor Irish companies, you may notice changes in the data you receive from this date onward.
What’s Changing?
Below is a summary of the key updates:
Company & Management Data

Directors
Accurate resignation dates have been applied to some Director records, including moving applicable records to the 'previous directors' section -
Group Company Names
Group company names now reflect the latest known name, rather than older historical values.
Classification & Financial Indicators

SIC Codes
Updated to align with the latest available classifications. -
Estimated Sales
Corrections have been applied where group membership data was previously inaccurate. -
Parent Credit Limit
Now reflects the most up-to-date parent company data, including lower limits where applicable.
Contact & Filing Information

Address and Phone Number
Standardised and aligned with the primary reference source. -
Auditor
Auditor details have been updated to match the latest filed accounts. -
Late Filing Status
Improved accuracy for companies exempt from filing (e.g. unlimited companies), ensuring they are no longer incorrectly flagged.
Legal & Status Updates

Charge Status
Updated to reflect the current position (e.g. charges marked as satisfied where applicable). -
Dormant Flag
More accurately assigned based on accounts notes and business activity.
Events & Portfolio Impact

Some events have been added or removed to reflect the most up-to-date source data. -
Company Removals
Companies that have been dissolved or removed for an extended period may appear in portfolio lists with:-
Blank company names
