Does Company Watch provide BIC or MCC codes?

BIC stands for Bank Identifier Code and is also commonly referred to as a SWIFT code. MCC stands for Merchant Category Code. These are payment industry identifiers issued by SWIFT and the card schemes, and they do not form part of Company Watch company or director datasets.

If you need to classify a company’s business activity, use the associated SIC code for the company instead. SIC code information is available on company records and can also be used as a search filter.
