Detailed information on the Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (Furlough). The furlough information is sourced from the UK government and covers the months from December 2020 until the scheme closed in September 2021. HMRC no longer refresh the data to include amendments or repayments, but do update the source file to remove historical data which has been published for 12 months. The data on the platform reflect the file published on 16 December 2021, which was the final time that all months from December 2020 to September 2021 were included.
Note that claimants did not provide their Company Registration Number (CRN) to HMRC. HMRC has undertaken a matching process to append CRNs to claimant data; we have also put the data through our own matching algorithm. We have indicated on the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme screen whether the Company Registration Number has been provided by HMRC or determined via the Company Watch matching process.
If a company, or a company within the group, has claimed or may have claimed under the furlough scheme, a notification will also be displayed on the Snapshot Profile and the Health Profile.
